I love plants and flowers, but I suck at making them stay alive. I was not blessed with a green thumb, I have even killed succulents, and trust me they are easy to take care of. But I have stumbled across this new "trend", if that is what you want to call it, on Pinterest called air plants. 

I have decided despite my history with plants, to give these a try, hopefully I can keep them alive!

Here are my new friends.

The one on the left I bought from a nursery, the middle on was a gift from a friend and the one on the right I stole from my parents garden (apparently it's been hanging in a tree for years.)

Here's hoping.

I have realized lately, that I have a lot of opinions, whether it is on what the girl in front of me in the bank is wearing to things more complicated such as racism.

With this realization I remembered that once upon a time not too far back, I had this passion for writing, and as the years went by, I put that passion on some bookshelf somewhere between an old dictionary and Jane Eyre. 

I also have quite a passion for things beautiful and inspiring and music that makes the world  go round. 

With this blog I do not intend to use it as a platform too advertise my "skills", to get any sponsors or even readers for that matter (personally I think that "the blog" is going to the place where spice girl platforms and tamagotchi's went to die.)

I simply am writing and posting too keep myself sane. So if you stumble across this series of unfortunate posts, I do hope you enjoy.
